After checking-in for a recent DL flight from Lynchburg, VA I was talking to the baggage screener and she told me that United Express was seriously considering bringing service back to LYH. There are two News and Advance articles that also support this. Does anyone at United or the Lynchburg Airport have any inside information about this? Also, does anyone know about any other service changes at LYH, DL connection was supposed to start service to CVG but that never materialized and there was a rumor that US express was to restart service to PIT or add service to PHL. Thanks!

US Airways probably isn't going to be starting service to anywhere from PIT except major cities like:
IAH
ATL
DFW
Although, we are getting BNA back with two daily ERJs on July 8th, but BNA is still a much larger city than LYH or ROA.
