I'm looking to book SOU-LAX which is operated by Air France via CDG. I see the CDG-LAX sector is codeshare with Airlinair.

Who are they and what do they fly? I've never heard of them!!

Cheers!

They've a fleet of ATRs, don't see them going CDG-LAX - it would take forever.....!!

They are based in Paris, Orly. They operate ATR-42/72 mainly for Air France. But also for Brit air, Europe Airpost, CCM.
From Paris (CDG and Orly) they offer regular flights to Aurillac/Beziers/Brive/Castres, and from Lyon to La Rochelle/Poitiers.
The punctuality of flights is 97,5% and the regularity of flights is 99%.

It is a mistake, A5 is operating the SOU-CDG sector, not the CDG-LAX one.
For more info on Airlinair, Google is your friend: http://www.airlinair.com/.

I thought Air France operated SOU-CDG on a Canadair CRJ? They have done so for a long time, have they changed?

Airlinair is also operating the CDG-EIN flights on behalve of AF-KL
Flights are operated by ATR's but there is a rumour going on that AF mainline will operate this flights in the near future with B737 / A319 due high load factors and high yields...

Wow, if that comes true, EIN get another operator with 'large' aircraft. But I think AF is retiring/selling their 735's? But correct me if I'm wrong...

AF upgraded the service to a larger ATR as it was so popular, with a good yield. However had no idea it was an Airlinair plane.
