The airport has just released its new draft master plan.

http://www.bournemouthairport.co.uk/...rporate-information/masterplan.php

Some points which I have picked up on is the following which surprised me a bit.

We plan to rationalise the existing four contact stands and deliver two new stands by 2015.

I would have thought they might have built more by then. If thomsonfly base another 2 aircraft at the airport there is going to be tight parking spaces even though there are the remote stands.

They have also decided against building a new terminal too. We have decided, on balance, to pursue a phased redevelopment of our existing terminal
facilities, to match demand as it occurs.

There are diagrams etc in the 60 page document that detail more about the airport plans although it doesn't seem that the airport is going to expect large amounts of growth. I take it nothing more has come about the Easyjet base??
