Hi,
hoping to make a trip up to MAN in the near future and would like to make it round to the northside of 24L/R in the evening.How can I get to the spot from the viewing park and what focal length would be needed for such shots?

By car, bicycle or on foot - but not by public transport. You leave the viewing park and turn left onto the main A538 road. Continue under the runway tunnels and at the roundabout turn left and you're there. By car it's about 5 minutes, by bicycle about 15 minutes and on foot about 45 minutes.
By the way, the viewing park is on the north side of the runways, I think you mean you want to find the alternative spot on the south side.
