Jazeera Beefs Up Schedual+adds BOM,DEL

New Jazeera (Kuwait) expansion  Smile

Additional Frequencies on the following:

  • KWI-Alexandria: now 5 weekly, was 4 weekly
  • KWI-DAM: now 2 dailies, was 1 daily
  • KWI-DXB: now 2 dailies, was 1 daily
  • KWI-LXR: now 5 weekly, was 3 weekly

New Routes:

  • KWI-BOM: 5 weekly, 6 weekly starting 7-16-06
  • KWI-DEL: 2 weekly

I'm sure they must be cursing the fact that they did not get permission to Kerala - that's where they can be sure their flights will end up always full - if priced right. Good luck to them to get the permission for the southern cities.

Kerala has not been denied. Jazeera has got is clearance to operate 1300 seats on DEL and BOM on an adhoc basis until 18JUL06 exceptionally as the fresh round of bilateral discussions are scheduled for 18/19JUL. They expect to make significant gains then and have expressed their keenness to fly to HYD, COK if they manage to get traffic rights. Presently KU is utilizing the entire 700 seats allowed to Kuwait on the KWI-COK-KWI sector.
