No news seems to be trickling through the net. I wonder if 5B-AUC is still sitting in Athens. Maybe 411A, a former employee of Air Universal can shed some light on this.

I have a feeling this little plan will fall into obscurity...

Local Cypriot press reported last week that the matter has not been resolved yet.

In my opinion, I can not see it getting resolved given the fact that the Cypriot Aviation Authority is under extreme pressure due to the Helios crash last year. After that, they have become very strict and will not allow any new registrations even for small single engined airplanes.

The public opinion in Cyprus is that the crash was CAA's fault because it failed to adequately check Helios operations.
