The Temp/Satellite Gates at T6 at JFK have been open for a little over a month and somebody has to have pictures of the inside of the terminal. Could someone please post them.

Sorry, I can't help you with photos although I'm sure somebody will post some.

I did want to chime in that the satellite gates are quite nice for a temporary terminal and I wonder how much B6 invested to make it that nice for just a few years.

The only negative part IMO is the Shuttle bus; I think they would be much better off having a simple staircase to access it. It made the process seem much longer and more complex.

What do they have instead of a staircase?

They have a handicapped accessible ramp with what seemed like 6 or 7 long ramps until you got to the ground.

The sat gates are rather nice, nicer then T6 and the A/C works unlike T6. As for investment, the building is rather basic, portable and the jetbridges are going to be used on the new terminal so jetBlue was very smart in that aspect. Sorry though I don't have any pics. The shuttle bus system really isn't that bad, one leaves one arrives and so on. jetBlue is expecting to open its new terminal now a year to over a year ahead of its orginal deadline. I was onsite last week with some jetblue folks and they are very excited about the progress.

I'm not at all surprised. The actual deadline is 2009, but from what I've heard they've been working around the clock on it. Things get done pretty quickly here in NY  Wink

Most people on a.net hate JetBlue. Get used to it.
