I think Airbus 3XX wins this one - correct airline, but Tokyo - Moscow (4,653 mi) is longer and the airline now operates on the Osaka-Moscow route again - shorter than Tokyo, but longer than HK.

My guess would have been THY's Jo'burg-Istanbul service, but that's considerably shorter at just over 4,100 miles.

I think the longest EVER A310 service would have been Wardair's (REMEMBER THEM!) London-Vancouver, which was just over 4,700 miles.

Well, AI did operate a service from BOM/DEL to MAN (UK) for some time using A310's. Does that count? isnt that around 9 hrs?

HF´s HAJ-Puerto Plata is also 9,5 hrs, but I´m not sure, if it´s still non-stop. Maybe there´s now a fuelstop at Gander, Canada. Does somebody know more about this? Thanks

Here's another one...I did this a couple of times with Aerolineas Argentinas when they had the A310...

5253 miles Buenos Aires-New York about 10 1/2 hours

and also they used to fly it non-stop to Mexico City - 4565 miles

AI never operated non-stop betweem SA and India. The flights were operated BOM-DAR-DUR-JNB.

Also, MAN was served through FCO - the routing was BOM-DEL-FCO-MAN.

When AI served LHR with A310s, they routed MAA-KWI-LHR

The longest sector AI has operated with A310 is probably DEL-KIX (operated briefly right before the HKG handover when HKG traffic warranted its own 747 rather than a combined DEL-HKG-KIX flight).

Also, AI has operated BLR-PER with A310s (for less than a month - the service was then modified to BLR-SIN-PER). Not sure if that is longer than the DEL-KIX route.

I was on an Air France flight from IAH to CDG in an A310. 10 hours, 5035 miles. Nonstop.

Well one of the longest was Air Jamaica's MBJ-LHR but without a doubt the longest would have been Aerolinas Argentine's Buenos Aires to Kennedy flight. Non stop i might add.

BTW, word has it that AI might operate A310s BOM-DEL-CDG-ORD to supplement the 744 service through LHR. That would make some pretty damn long ETOPS flights!
