Hi

On my way to work this morning I thought that I saw a LH 744 on its way to Heathrow.

First question can anyone confirm that there was a LH 744 at LHR today?

Second: I guess this was to bring pax back from the world cup, however did LH operate this flight from Berlin. Berlin - LHR is not a regular LH route?

Last question: Did any other European cities get LH 744 visits this morning?

Rich

Yes, this was a special one-off flight due to the end of the World Cup.

Was it a special or did they substitute a 744 for an AB6 on LH4722 because they need all the AB6s today for the TXL-FRA runs?

Wow, I wish I had seen it!

I saw an A343 LH take off from LHR recently (diverted), and that would have been a nice addition.

So recently LHR has seen almost every LH a/c type apart from A332/3, A346 and MD11. (theres always plenty of 733/5, CRJ, A319/20/21, and A300)!!!!

I came. I saw. I conquered
