I have seen all of the 787 interior mockups, and could not find any of those signs anywhere? Does anyone with Boeing know why?

Every image on the Boeing page appears to be looking aft, so it is possible they're just not in view. If you look at the images showing the bathrooms, you can see a band of light above the door, green in most images, but red in this one - I'd suspect this is a concept for another way of indicating the bathroom being in use (not a bad idea - I've seen people stare at a closed door for 5 minutes waiting, even though there is no one in the bathroom!).

On the subject of no smoking signs, I seem to recall reading that they would be replaced by 'no electronic devices' signs, since smoking is almost universally banned on aircraft now.

They're being replaced with "Siddown and Shaddup" signs... at least that's what it feels like much of the time these days on domestic US flights.

LOL! US airlines should buy the rights to use images and quotes from the comedy movie "Airplane" (1980), that would make flying a treat  Smile
