Here is an idea I can't get out of my head:
The scenario is that Air Canada needs to replaces former Canadiens F28s (which is true). Now, Tupolev comes in with an offer of Tupolev 334's. The deal is Air Canada gets as many TU-334's as they want for free all they have to do is give an F28 to Tupolev for every TU-334 they get.
Now:
1. This would benefit Tupolev because they would enter the market. Secondly, thay could lease the old F28s to make money (remeber they got no actual funds for the TU-334's)
