Hi Guys!

I don't know if anyone can help me, but I am going to try to do the X-Fares Stand-by option on FL this FRI from EWR-MDW and then back on Sunday. My question is does anyone know how the loads look on FL884, the 6:53PM departure. Also when I return I am going to try to get on either FL883 or FL885 the 12:10PM and the 3:00PM departures respectfully. If anyone could shed some light on the loads or even let me know if I shoudl bother trying, I would greatly appreciate it. Also if on Sunday the loads look heavy, how do the loads look with a connection through ATL?

Thanks so much for any help that can be provided!

Dave

Try www.flyaow.com/classtandt.htm

Flight 884 shows 4 seats in biz and 4 seats in coach open.

Both return flights show 4 seats in biz open and coach sold out. That does not sound too promising....use this tool to see which flights have lots of seats, if a 9 shows in a lower fare bucket, it means that 9 or more cheap seats are open and you have a good shot at standing buy. Its certainly not a definitive answer, but it should help.

It looks like four is the maximum shown in each bucket for FL. If more than half of the fare classes are available, chances are good.

Its guess work, on the flights that the original poster was asking about, 4 seats only showed in one fare bucket in economy, or they were all zero...it just doesnt look good. (Friday night and Sunday afternoon....busy weekend travel times.)
