Skyway To Be At EAA AirVenture

Skyway will be front and center with a 328Jet at EAA's AirVenture 2006 on July 29th and 30th.

Great news. AirVenture has gone a number of years with zero representation from any airline. It's good to see Skyway stepping up.  thumbsup

It's the annual E.A.A. airshow held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (KOSH):

Yeah, some how we've still got the money  Wink Big grin to shuttle airplanes to OSH and MTW this year for airshows. MTW was the usual 328Jet and 1900D along with 2 pilot crews for each.  Wink Big grin I sure hope that comes out of the advertising budget.

No links because it is posted on YX net..the companies employee intranet. However if you need further proof, I'll just copy'n paste.

Skyway Airlines will display its popular Fairchild 328JET during the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on July 29-30 at Aeroshell Square. Midwest Connect was a launch customer for the 328JET in 1999 and now operates 10 of the aircraft. If you're at the show, be sure to stop by and give it a look."

Well the airshows do pay for at least some of the cost to bring the aircraft into the show.

They've been to MKG before for Air Fair ... not sure about this year with the new management running the show. A few years ago they managed to have both a Beech and 328JET for the weekend ... and we had convinced the crews to partake in the traditional flyby down the runway after leaving. It was pretty cool to see the Beech buzz down a couple hundred feet above the deck at full throttle followed by the 328 not far behind.

Yeah, they both were up this year. Although I think we skipped the MKG airshow in favor of EAA this year.
