When AA2000 is going to start working on a new AR Terminal?
It really looks old, boring and ugly.
Next to the InternationalTerminal, AR building looks like a no frills, charter terminal from Romania or Albania! lol  Wink

Great question! I remember an a.net member mentioning the new terminal project was being "delayed" for unknown reasons a few months ago. Any information would be appreciated.

However, I do remember reading in the press AA2000 was in negotiations with the 'K' government over usage fees and ownership. Whether this is affecting AA2000's timetable for the proyect, I have absolutely no idea.

Also, what is happening with the rail proyect linking EZE with Estacion Constitucion in downtown Bs.As.??

Considering its 2006 now, I would not hold my breath.

Overall tough, EZE has seen some improvements in recent years. New lobby check in area for international carriers plus some cosmetic improvements up towards the gate areas including improved shops.

I know they are doing renovations on Cordoba Airport.
I would like to see COR upgraded and receiving more international flights, AA from MIA and IB from MAD would be nice!

There is a whole project, that includes "Ciudad Aerolineas" (not sure if that is for HQs or for terminal.

There are also plans for a train to EZE

Why don't more long haul airlines fly there? I mean the city has a population of 1.3 million and it is Argentina's 2nd biggest city! If not Iberia or American, why not Aerolineas Argentinas with a thrice weekly flight to Madrid?

The new terminal in COR has been completed and has been running for a few months now!
All I can say is WOW!

It is one of the great terminals in Argentina.

I cannot wait till work starts on EZE! Long over due! Especially since you have a state of the art terminal next to an old and antiquated one.

Right, agreed. So, what's the answer to the question? When is construction on the new EZE expected to start and when is project expected to be completed? Does anyone have a clue?
