Nice sound on the second video. Did you take them yourself?

Very nice Aaron747! Nothing beats the sound of a jet engine spooling up or the smell of Jet A (in the morning of course)!

And since I was there (at Youtube) I saw this there begging to be watched:

Insane! I can't imagine that the landing gear liked the stress.
(I hope I am not hijacking your thread)

Those are great Aaron!

Are those yours? We need more NGO stuff on A.net. It is such a great airport to spot at.

Yeah I grabbed them a couple weeks ago when I picked up a relative. My camera has a massive audio sampling rate so I had to substantially compress the videos. Apologies for that.

A.net recently rejected a bunch of photos from NGO I've taken recently so you can find them at my gallery here:

Even if they had been accepeted NGO is not in the Airport list on the photo search. You have to type Chubu to get the new airport (NGO/RJGG). All the photos that were associated with old NGO when it was the main airport are now NKM/RJNA. But the NGO just disappeared from the database. I wish the site would have three listings for NGO.

NGO/RJGG: Nagoya International Airport (closed)
NGO/RJGG: Chubu International Airport
NKM/RJNA: Nagoya-Komaki Municipal Airport

Photos from the new airport:

Photos from the old airport nown known as NKM:

Put some on myaviation.net and then they can be used here on A.net. All my photos have been rejected on A.net so I put them there.

While were on the subject of video's from youtube.com, i ran across this video today,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTLGsEErWJY
i was wondering is the 747's thrust acctuly blowing the people off the beach or are they just running for cover from the thrust. Sorry if this is old.

Also nice videos of the T7.

Looks like the people are being blown or they are all Olympic runners. You can see waves in the water from the thrust. If your hair was wet from getting out of the water, it would be dry once the plane revs up. But your body will be wet son from being forced back into the water.

Sorry, don´t like the sound of the 1st one - nothing against the 777 but if you grew up with the screaming engines of 727s, Dc 9s, Bac 1-11s and 737-200s it is a plain and boring sound.
The other day I picked up my step-dad from SXF and my little brother was with me and he said -although no big aviation fan himself - if I would have noticed that the sound at the airport is different now from the one ten years ago.

It will forever be a McDonnell Douglas MD 80 , Boeing MD 80 sounds so wrong
