I was watching the news tonight, and they stated that because of the current escalation of fighting in the Middle East, which will only get worse, everyone should expect gas prices to go up significantly. Now what does this mean to the airlines, if the price per barrel goes up lets say to $90 or $100 a barrel? Is there any airline that is on the brink of bankruptcy that this may push over the edge? What problems can be expected at an airline like UA, who are fresh out of bankruptcy, and can't seem to get their head above water with $75 a barrel prices?
