Thanks for the links. The airport at Juba is quite interesting especially the abandoned 707 on the disused runway.

The links are great... I shaved off a good part of today going through airports around the continent!
Definitely interesting to see Juba's airport! I have noticed however that some of them may be outdated, with ADD being a good example where you can see that the new hangar's and cargo terminal's construction has not begun, and that parts of the city I am very well familiar with show their states circa ~ 2002/2003. At any rate, anything is good, and am loving the detail!

It is amazing how many 707 airframes are abandoned throughout Africa, But who spotted the DC-8 and Noratlas at Kigali? How about the AN-124 at Mombassa?

can anyone tell what the 2 planes at Kisumu, Kenya are? (Kisumu also is in high definition). Entebbe, Uganda, unfortunately, is still in low definition.

No idea about the two aircraft at Kisumu. Couple of guesses woult be, for the jet engined one, a Cessna something, while the other one could be a LET410.
As for Entebbe, with Kampala being the large city, EBB is left out.

Hhahaha true! But then again, I think I was able to capture all of those at Kinshasa or Luanda where almost every old airframe exists. Oh, in Khartoum too!

I am choked to see Mogadishu airport like that. I know that the state of the country has been really bad for a long time, but it looks like nothing except looting has been going on - and a tsunami maybe.

If you go to the GA airport in Nairobi, Kenya (other side of town) it looks to have a few DC3 parked.

Sir, don't you think we should turn on the runway lights?" "No, that's just what there expecting us to do!"
