Lufthansa To Start-up Airline In India?

Anybody heard about strong rumours as well that LH is thinking about starting a indian airline?

Strong rumours? Where are those rumours? Never heard anything about that. Why should they do that when there are a number of possible airline partners even beyond the one (Air India) that LH is already involved with.

Actually I have very strong doubts. I am sure that Lufthansa has learned it lesson well after the disastrous ModiLuft adventure years ago. But then again, life is full of surprises.

not exactly!!! in case of ModiLuft, it was basically an Indian venture, and technical service and aircraft were provided by LH. So, cannot be exactly called a LH venture.
As for the current situation, I have my serious doubt as the current policy puts cap on direct foreign investment in civil aviation.
