I have found a web site listing airlines and ranking them. They do surveys about all airlines of the world, the site's address is www.airlinequality.com
Here are the 5 stars airlines, in alphabetical order.

Is it surprising that 4 of th 7 ***** airlines, are in fact members of the STAR Alliance? Also, is it surprising that 5 of the 7 are from the Asia/Pacific region?

Why should it be surprising that 5/7 are from Asia/Pacific? In fact, asian airlines are known to have better quality service than their american or european counterparts!

cathay pacific surely cant be put in the same league with american but rather with singapore air which is deserving of all their stars and more
