Light Aircraft Crash In Southend On Sea

ITV news has just reported that a man has been killed when his light aircraft crashed in Eastwood Park, Southend. No further news as yet.

It was most probably on approach for 06. Eastwood park is only a mile or so away from SEN.

The pilot was a 16 year old on his second solo flight. Picture shown in todays Metro show AAIB investigators at the scene. Very sad for all involved.

Im aware this is a bit on the older side here, but Ill just say that I knew the person involved with this crash from my pervious School. They wernt someone I knew a great deal of, however its very strange knowing someone involved.
