Just released:
Quote: FARNBOROUGH, July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - (NYSE: CGT; TSX: CAE) - CAE has won a contract from Federal Express (FedEx) to provide two Airbus A380 full-flight simulators and a suite of CAE Simfinity(R) training
devices. The contract brings the total full-flight simulator sales that CAE
has announced in fiscal 2007 to ten.
To put it this way: 2 FFS for 10 A380s, which are flying long-haul, makes 5 A380s per FFS, or very much over the thump 35 crews per FFS (I've assumed 7 crews for one A380). You cannot tell me that this crew/FFS ratio is healthy - I would thus assume that we will see FX place an add-on order in the near future.
