It's noon now and about 10 minutes or so ago I saw a 747 fly over my house after takin off from MKE. Anyone got any idea of what it was or what is was doin there? I'm pretty sure none of the cargo airlines fly them into here so maybe it was a diversion of some sort.
Will you watch the Cleveland Browns and the Detroit Lions on Sunday? Only if coach Eric Mangini resigned after a loss.

AS130 ANC/ORD almost went to MSP this morning due to ORD thunderstorms,
but they managed to sneak into ORD just before they would have had to
divert.

Alright thanks for the info guys. When exactly did these storms hit ORD, cause I remember at around 4 AM it was getting pretty bad round here in Racine.

Quoting Mke717spotter (Reply 7): When exactly did these storms hit ORD, cause I remember at around 4 AM it was getting pretty bad round here in Racine.
Storms hit us around 5-5:30 am and ended around 12:30 pm. We got serious winds, lightning & about 2.5 inches of rain. These storms were serious, but I did see a few flights make it into ORD between cells. Right now there looks like at least a two-hour delay on flights into ORD.
