SAA A346 - Not Yet Delivered

There are two A340-624 which are not yet in service.

MSN 589, ZS-SNJ (F-WWCT)
MSN 594, ZS-SNK (F-WWCY)

What's with this two airframes?

MSN 589 and 594 are among twelve (!) planes that were never built.(*) It was suggested for a while that they were destined for SAA but that seems to have been a myth. Anyway, they will not now happen.

(*) Thus planes up to and including MSN 757 have flown but there are only 743 of them. (If that makes sense...)
