Alitalia will soon announce the end of service from MXP to Manchester, Dublin and Minsk to concentrate on more profitable routes. These three routings have also not be uploaded in AZ's Winter 06-07 schedule lending more credence to this rumor.

Cant say Im at all surprised by DUB. EI have struggles to fill the route, usually getting less than 100 pax per flight I hear. No major loss if you ask me

Sat, Sun service only. was a daily operation last summer but that was cut back. I assume the EI service to Milan that struggles might be the BGY flight as opposed to the LIN flight. LIN has been on the EI network for donkeys years.
