Just read in today's FVW eMail newsletter, that, in a continuation of what seems to be an almost never-ending saga, Aeroflot has reannounced the commencement of flights between HAJ and SVO; they originally had announced the flights for commencement with the - if I recall correctly - summer timetable, now they're set to begin in September.
They're also already loaded in Sabre... flights will begin with three weekly TU154 flights, which are to be upgraded to daily A319s by Summer 2007.
Currently scheduled are flights on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday that leave SVO at 09:35 and arrive at HAJ at 10:50, while the return operates from 12:40 to 17:45.
I still think it's somewhat strange that SU is now, again, trying to enter the HAJ market - there are so many flights from HAJ to Russia and the C.I.S. states already, I cannot imagine SU having much of an impact, or much of a chance, in it...
But, as always, time will tell.
In any case, nice to see HAJ attracting new services.

Altough there are lot of russian airlines flying to Hannover, I think that SU will have positive score on this route. It is russian biggest airline, also a member of a worldwide alliance, and with just one smart business move, like price dumping it could easily overtake traffic from S7 for example, operating the same route: HAJ-MOW (different airports, SU flies to SVO while S7 flies to DME)
