The largest part is fuel surcharges, the rest is made up of security fees, landing-, departing- and handling-fees, overflight- and route-fees...

It all depends on from where to where through where you're flying... and, obviously, with whom...  Wink

I've seen tickets with taxes around €75 (approx. $95), and the highest simple returns I've seen were around €300 (approx. $380) - there's no exact amount in % or €/$; it simply depends on too many factors.

The amount, with very few exceptions, does not differ between the lowest economy class fares and the highest first class fares.
