My understanding is that it is real. I believe this is a museum in Germany someplace.

I think it was taken at the Technik Museum Sinsheim. They have a Concorde and a Tu-144 as well.

ya its real, BA did it with the concord in NYC. its really cool how a machine at that size can sit on a couple of steels poles. thats a modern marvel.

If your talking about the Concorde ad in Times Square that was a scaled down model, not the real aircraft. The one at the Intrepid is flat on a barge.

Almost. Concorde and Concordski are in Sinsheim, D-ABYM is in nearby Speyer. However, the company running both museums is the same AFAIK.

I just feel the need to point out that the last interstate bridge you drove across (or under) weighs more than that 747.



Quit calling an airport ramp "Tarmac" and a taxiway "runway".
