Following the announcement that BA is to cease services between Glasgow and Southampton, for bookings made over the next two weeks, Flybe will be offering a 25% off BA’s lowest fares as part of our special rescue package to those wishing to continue flying between Glasgow and Southampton.

25% off offer applies to flights between 27th October – 20th December 2006 and can be booked up to 10th August 2006

Also BE going to 6x daily (current 4x) on SOU-GLA. They will also use E195's on the route.

SOU isn't LHR so no chance of BA or BACON making a proper go of it.

When did BA announce they were dropping SOU-GLA?

I tried to book with them for Friday afternoon but it was sold out. BACON flights to EDI have also been full the last couple of times I've flown them.

BA Connect are closing their crew base in SOU or so rumour has it, i've not seen it in writing, but it might explain the cancellations possibly?
