Hi All

I think LHR has been experiencing some bad weather and we have had several diversions land at LGW. When I left work the following a/c were at LGW being refuelled and waiting to go back to LHR

BA 319 G-EUPE (i think) and another couple
BA 747-400 G-CIVK inbound from MRU
Etihad A340-500 (i think was parked on remote stands)
China Southern A340-600
Two Virgin A340-600's
Iberia A320

It was all exciting I wish I could have stayed but after 13 hours I was a bit tired.

I was exchanging texts with the family (7 of them including a 6 yr old!!) whom I said goodbye to after checking them in around 5pm at FAO bound for LHR on TP. TP posted a 15 minute delay, but they sat on the tarmac at FAO for over 2 hrs, and all they got was a drink of water. Not happy campers!!

Breakfast in BHX, lunch in FAO, dinner in TIP, baggage in YYC.

Yeah the weather was pretty bad here in Harrow, NW London from around 5pm to around 8pm (ish), virtually constant rumbles off thunder with localised heavy downpours that must of affected LHR just down the road.

Hover your mouse over the 'FR' and the airline is decoded for you.
