Frontier's DEN-GDL was approved a few days ago, but they haven't announced the service yet:

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).

Yes, and it has been approved along with MCO-MEX.

Thanks RwSEA. I think it is great to see DL expanding in Mexico. I hope AM will do the same thing. Will the DL Mexico flights have all those new amenities that DL has announced (PTV's, complimentary cocktails, etc.)?

Salt Lake City also has a large Hispanic community, and SLC has effectively become DL's gate way to Mexico, not only to the big resort destinations, but increasingly to the main population centers; MEX and now GDL.

No way this can't work, since Utah is one of the few states that encourages the illegals to move there, with special drivers licenses. If we can get them to fly to SLC, then maybe we will have less dying in the desert.

No need to apply for those, as they bought the route rights as part of their PA takeover  Silly .

Delta has also requested SkyWest to have an exemption to fly SLC-MZT, replacing Shuttle America. In addition, they have requested SkyWest to fly SLC-SJD, replacing ASA. Both operated with CR7's.

I'm not sure most of the pax will come from SLC, I think the majority will come from the whole Pacific Northwest.

Which would still make SLC the "gateway" for the pax  Wink .

and SLC has effectively become DL's gate way to Mexico,

That honor still belongs to ATL  Wink , and LAX is not standing back behind SLC either.
