I have seen a one-way, all-in ticket for about £60 from Bangkok to Phuket aboard the 744 in business. Not bad, eh? OK, so it has a block of 1 hour 20 minutes, but hey - probably won't find a cheaper business ticket on the 744.

Quoting Pe@rson (Reply 1): I have seen a one-way, all-in ticket for about £60 from Bangkok to Phuket aboard the 744 in business.
You should be able to sit in F, "744" has the new suites, "747" the flat seats. That's unless the F cabin is closed.
Of the regular 747-400 flights, 921/221 BKK-HKT have meals (hot main course, usually Thai food+fresh fruit), HKT-BKK on 222/920 has no meal service, just a small pastry.

I'd go for that Pe@rson, sounds a great way of spending 60 quid, equal to about 4 Ryanair 'free' sectors, especially if you get a recently refitted TG B744.
