hey guys, i was on UA 504 from SFO-LAX and a man got arrested for argueing with the flight attendent and spitting on him. the man that got arrested was refusing to put his laptop away after the doors closed and started an arguement with the flight attendent on how dumb the rule was. he finally put his laptop away, and as the flight attendent walked away the man spat on the flight attendent. the flight attendent called the pilot and told the guy that if he didn't chill out than the plane would turn back to the gate, and have the man arrested. the man finally chilled out and we were on our way to LAX. at the gate at LAX 4 police officers came on bored and escorted the man out where he was arrested.

i mean who does that, argue with the flight attendent and than spit on them, what was this guy thinking.

i have no sorce for this becuase it happened on my flight but i don;'t think it made news.

Well, you know that the F/A's make the rules  Yeah sure

Some people have no character and we should just open the doors and strap them to the wing for the flight. They then can spit shine Air France planes....hmm this might actually work.  bigthumbsup

lol..I've flew on AF last year...those planes were clean for some odd reason.. confused  biggrin

But I agree..anyone who spits on someone should have their mouth taped shut for rest of the flight and then arrested.....that is just vile and childish..

United is in talks with the government over liability issues with this cost saving inititive, insiders believe United will soon (early 2007)strap pax that spit, fight, yell, etc to the aircraft during the flight with an understanding they must spit shine the aircraft. PETA has not had an issue as of now and we do not believe PETA will pursue any litigations.

Some PAX have requested this service. A quote from a PAX "You really do know why we fly" . United will start charging a premium for an outside the window seat of $10.

I had an issue with a guy a month ago.. He told the flight attendant he wanted to move. She told him that the flight was full. For some reason he didn't want to sit on the single seat left side of the ERJ. He then demanded to talk to the pilot. The flight attendant told him that the door was closed and that it wasn't possible. I guess he started yelling at other passengers to switch seats. The flight attendant just called us and my captain got him takin off the immediately.

I still don't understand what was wrong with that seat being a single row. I like it. Smile

Unless he was the last person on, why did he pick that seat. Even if you have an assigned seat, nobody checks this or cares on an ERJ.

I don't know. We were getting ready for a nice midnight flight. It was PHX-IAH at 1 A.M. I guess he said the seat made him feel uncomfortable or something stupid like that. The FA said he made some very profane comments. I just told my captain, get this guy off, we don't time for this shit.. We were a little late anyway.

mmm... I'm not a proponent of our war or the death penalty, but I somewhat disagree here. I can use an exapmle. A guy in my hometown here in '93 broke into a 13 year old girls house, kidnapped her, raped her, and slaughtered her, then when he was caught not only admitted to it but praised himself for it. His name is Richard Allen Davis, currently in the state prison. That man is worthless.

without wanting to discuss this in deep here (wrong platform, I guess  Wink), I stand by my opinion that no human being is worthless (or more worth than another, for that matter). For me this is not based on the actual doings of someone but just on his existence as a human being. Some people may have done very bad and also may deserve every punishment they get, but for me they are still human beings and not worthless as such. My opinion, as I said, however, I do respect different opinions on that matter.

Personally, I'd like to see the other passengers just start beating the shit out of scumbags like this. This idiot needs his ego knocked about 3 city blocks away. Someone in an adjacent seat could grab the laptop and slide it down the aisle. As he gets up to retrieve it, he can fall down 3 to 6 times as he passes each row. When the plane lands at destination,....."who me?.....I didn't see anything.....I think he fell in the lav."

I don't understand everything I don't know about this.

For someone like me who is terrified flying an individual like that should be escorted off the plane without any refund for his ticket.I find flying hard enough without having to do it in the company of morons.
