I was curious if there is a restriction on size of aircraft flying into ISP or if there is just a time curfew, etc. I know this is a very difficult airport in terms of NIMBYs and I was wondering if someone could be a little more specific on what is and isn't allowed.

I know back in the 1980's I flew through there on a Northeastern DC-8 (ISP-FLL) and 727s off UA and EA. AA also used to fly in there with 727s, as well as Northeastern (with the great white and pink cloud schemes). I also remember EA flew 757s from PVD-ISP and on certain routes to Florida.

Anyway, any help is appreciated...
