Looks like almost the exact same setup but with a slightly cleaner look. Not too bad but nothing out of the ordinary. Still a good website every time I've used it for my flights on CO.

I like the new look, but it looks like they have an error on cookie handling (or have taken out the feature) to remember your one-pass number from visit to visit.

It seems that the new website has all the same content and features as the old one except they organized it a little differently and got a new menu bar. Every page is identical to the old one.

Their Flash asset is jacked up. It appears as just a big blue rectangle in Safari and Firefox. Or is there a deeper symbolism I'm missing?

I'm running XP Pro and I don't have any of the above issues... When I clicked on the new site, my OnePass number was listed in the box BESIDE where you enter a new number. Also showed my OnePass account balance.
From first glance, I like the new website... Will have to put it to use soon..

One thing they didn't change:
You can't check flight status on the homepage without knowing the flight number. You still have to be taken to the timetable. I know it's not a lot, but it is an extra step. Everyone else let's you put city codes in on the homepage.
Otherwise, I have always liked the site - it just looks a little cleaner now.

Very odd. I just tried looking up a round-trip on the new site, and even though travelocity.com gave me a selection of flights all day in both directions, continental.com only gave me one flight in each direction, even when I re-did my selection from by price to by schedule.
Quoting Jano (Reply 6): Calendar cannot be opened in Firefox.
Using Safari on the Mac, the Calendar doesn't work either. I had to manually type in the dates.

I think it might be a problem with European (or non-North America) IP addresses. I'm in Poland at the moment, and I have tried it the past two days (Sunday and Monday) with both Firefox and IE and have gotten various errors. Yesterday, it was the error Chris mentioned, and today, the page that continental.com is redirecting me to does not exist. The sad thing is that they are going to lose my business over it because I have to book these flights one way or another. NW here I come...

I think that you are correct.......its still not working in the Netherlands or Belgium. Very strange and bad form, I am disappointed.

I like a lot of it, but no longer, even when signed in, do your latest reservations show up on the front page. Now you have to click a link to display them.
As for the other problems, it's growing pains. It's been a few hours. I think the calendar thing will get fixed soon (though I've seen it never fixed for some websites, so that's more of a guarded optimism).

This was a problem on the old site too. Lose it at least 1/2 the time for me.

Did you click on the Internatial button to go to your regional site?

I tried to give feedback, and after filling out the form, it said the "page was not found."
Quoting MalpensaSFO (Reply 18): The website has bits and pieces of others including:
I heard this same lame comment when I showed people the preview.
NEWS FLASH:
those "bits and pieces" were there before the reorganization, for YEARS, and BEFORE most other carriers had them. Just because you didn't know, doesn't mean CO copied anyone. If anything, CO, being a leader in website checkin and organization, was copied by these other carriers.
But beyond that, all these airlines offer the same product: air service. One would assume their website structure would have to be similar.

Overall I like the new look. But there are a number of initial problems which CO needs to fix as soon as it can:
1. No search options for +/- 1 day and nearby airports.
2. Changing flights in the search boxes at the bottom of flight results pages will not register if you only hit return rather than hitting the "search" button.
3. Using the "multiple cities" button on the homepage does NOT take user to the multiple cities page but just to the advanced search page-- not the same!!!
4. Clicking on "change/view existing reservations" from the "reservations" drop-down menu does NOT take user to the saved reservations, but just to a page for *adding* reservations by their confirmation number-- a page that allows NEITHER the change nor the view of existing reservations!!!
***CO should know that it is now VERY CONFUSING to get to the page with all of the saved reservations-- and not at all clear how to do this from the home page.
5. Related to #4, only 1 reservation appears on the homepage. I am aware others have commented on this, but who decided that we needed 3x as much OnePass info on the homepage but not as many reservations?
Hopefully CO actually looks at forums like these and takes note... I'm keeping my fingers crossed! AZStagecoach.

I cannot access Continental's web site since yesterday and must book a ticket urgently... This is indeed unacceptable...what's going on?
Does anyone know what is the reason? A world-class airline without web site for 24 hours!!!! This must mean a huge loss of money for them.
Maybe they changed it to another address which is not specified in Google or anywhere?
Thanks for any related info.

25 Jano: Most likely something in your location. Their web site is up and DNS servers are set correctly http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/traver...?domain=www.con
26 Dutchjet: Belgium and Netherlands are still without continental.com.
27 Aeroflot777: Add Russia to that list... Aeroflot777

30 Jano: This is not the case of censorship. It's most likely a case of something misconfigured between OpenTransit.net and ATT.net

36 Jano: So, why I can get to www.continental.com from a computer located in Slovakia and they cannot from their computers located in Poland and Russia? It's
37 ARGinLON: I get it... So you are in Poland trying to book using the U.S. website but you can't get access? I guess CO may want to protect itself from possible
38 Dcrusafon: Add Spain as well: CO website not working... I'm trying since yesterday to book a ticket and I finally did it with Delta from Barcelona to New York
39 Rpaillard: Euh ... nop! Definitively. But it amazed me that it last for a such long time, considering the business loss involved! Regards, Raphael
40 Aeroflot777: No... The reason is that something is wrong technically. There is no way CO will block access to it's site for selected countries. That just doesn't
41 Jnj561: It won't let me pull up a reservation made via a travel agent - says the confirmation number doesn't exist. You used to be able to do this on the old

46 Cubsrule: Europe is still shut out as of 9:36 AM in Poland (3:36 AM on the US east coast).
47 Rpaillard: Hi, I just CAN'T believe that! It's amazing! Is there a pilot on the plane ? That said, is the web site building by CO IT staff or is it subcontracte
48 Rpaillard: Still broken at 10:44 GMT+1 in France. Maybe it's time to do something, CO staff? Rol back the previous version? Raphael
49 Cubsrule: Where outside of the U.S. IS the site working? Latin America? Asia?
50 Dutchjet: No service, but I did get into the new site using the link from seatguru.com, of all things...although most of the site features were nort working. Its
51 Jano: I can get there to www.continental.com from a computer located in Slovakia. The trouble is here in the USA between ATT.net and OpenTransit.net - see

53 777: Add Italy to the list! Here the web site is not working at all!
54 Lt-AWACS: I much prefer the old site. The site will not disply APO, AE addresses correctly and it causes errors for ticketing even though an APO is a US mailing
55 COIAH756CA: Easier check-in if you ask me. I like it.
56 Airzim: It also doesn't recognize Elite status for reserving seats. I called RES and he said they've had tons of problems since the launch.
57 Rpaillard: Hi, Just to let you know that the website is still broken, at least from France. Now we can load the website, but we have a beautiful .net error : ---
58 Cubsrule: That new error is the same thing it was doing the very first day it was down.
59 CMB320: Sorry, I don't have the patience to go through this entire thread... but I have to say this because I'm very frustrated: I'm having HELL with the OneP
60 Danny: The same here in Ireland, no access to One Pass at all. Always returns me to default page. Morover it detects your IP and forces you always to go to
61 ThePRGuy: I've always found CO's website to be a step behind the rest, in terms of graphic styling and images. Especially comparing it with DL's superb website:
62 ARGinLON: Try by changing your language options. Once you open internet explorer go to "tool" and then internet options. Remove the language (e.g. English UK)
63 Shamrock330: I had the same problem as Danny above, your directions have solved my problem and can now ( at long last) access my Onepass account! Thanks.
