I came across this photo:

Looks like a new Y class for VS! Didn't they introduce new seats for their A346s when they first arrived? Why change the seat design again?

It isn't just a new seat colour, its a totally new seat design!

Nope me neither..perhaps its a cost cutting thing by VS, and this actually is their new Y class.... no seats!! They just want people to sit on the floor maybe!

Damn... I found it on the Virgin Flyer website last night... but its not working right now...

The seats are in red and grey covers, and look slightly more rounded than the current ones. They also look slightly thicker in the back and more padded. The backs of the them keep the arrangement of the large LCD, the controller underneath, and the double-fold tray underneath that.

They dont seem to be any bigger than the last time i saw them on one of their A346s. Any bigger they'll be suitable for the partially sighted and you probably won't be able to see the whole screen without turning your head - remembering their economy class has one of the smallest pitch around for a first tier carrier...

That's the new seat, but it isn't the new colour scheme. The new seat is fitting to G-VWIN, G-Vfit and G-VFIZ. The seat is wider and has lumbar support. The IFE remote has relocated to a much more accessible area.

I experienced this setup on G-VFIT JFK-LHR about two months ago. Was really nice, except my V:Port was faulty. I could still watch all the movies, including rewinding, pausing, etc. (amazing), but couldn't get the interactive menu.
