Those of us in the freight forwarding industry and of course spotter community will welcome the return of the CX 744F service back to YYZ.

The outbound routing will be:
YYZ-JFK (Dep 2345hrs Arr 0105hrs+1)
JFK-ANC (Dep 0330hrs Arr 0655hrs)
ANC-HKG (Dep 0830hrs Arr 1130hrs+1)

I'm not sure at this time of the inbound schedule to YYZ, if anyone is aware of it, please advise.

Service starts as follows:
Sept 6th
Sept 13th
Sept 16th and every Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday after this date.

Lets hope that the inbound flight timing allows for some daylight shots at YYZ before the winter season hits us  Smile

Presuming a 2½ hour turn time, it doesn't look like it will arrive in to YYZ until ~2115.

Hopefully I'm wrong  Smile

Aviation is proof that given, the will, we have the capacity to achieve the impossible.

Well, I guess it's time for me to dig out the spotlights, tripod and figure out how to take long exposures on my camara in preparation...haha

Finally, another 744 at YYZ  Smile

Now, if only AI would bring one in every once and a while, I would be one really happy guy.

Who got the contract to work the flight? Handlex or Globeground? And where will it be off-loaded, infield or Vista?? Just wondering, as I know Vista cargo has UPS, DHL, Emery, out every night but Sundays I think, and Korean Cargo 744F out Wednesdays and Saturdays, don't think that ramp can handle two 744F's at once.

Anyway, shall be nice to see another 744 around, I know they off-load Martinair cargo at the infield, I am guessing that's where CX will be off-loaded.

Me too! But YYZ will see another 747, actually a 743 from SV next summer hopefully.

Cheers,
Kaz

SV 743 huh, have not heard of this, very interesting!! Will be very cool to see them operating out of YYZ if true. Any other future "new" carriers to YYZ predicted for 2007?

IIRC this was posted a while ago based on information from Flight International magazine. It's to be 3x weekly starting Summer 2007. However, SV may decide to use their B772s instead of the B743. Obviously SV has not finalized their plans yet.

Yeah I know... been crazy busy with the new career. I'll ring ya!

One other tidbit comes from source in AUH that we should see EY drop the BRU stop enroute to YYZ and begin nonstop AUH-YYZ by next Summer. Let's hope it's with their B773ERs

Cheers,
Kaz

I've heard the same in BRU.
Direct AUH-YYZ with 77W and BRU terminating service with A332.
