Future Of 747-400 And 747-8 With British Airways

Recently, there was talk on the forum about British Airways and the future of their long-haul fleet. What does the future hold for the 747-400 with British Airways? Does the 747-8 have a future at the British Airways? Also, what does the route structure look like with the 747, are they being flown on fewer routes or expanding? Has there been any upgrades to the cockpits?

I have read that post but I am interested in more information regarding the 747-400, what routes it currently flies, if the routes are growing or shrinking, if there have been any updates to the fleet etc.

An easy way to find out this info is to look at the latest SkyGuide, and just check under London. It's a 50MB PDF download, so don't say you weren't cautioned first!  Smile
