on April 1, someone posted a thread saying that DL was prepeared for a possible Pilots Strike.
I am searching for that link but am unable to find it. was it deleted? or does
anyone has a hint?

Thankfully, the strike was averted due to a tentative agreement reached at the last minute some weeks ago.

what I am looking for is for the hoax that a A-Netter posted saying that
DL is prepeared for an upcoming Pilots Strike since they have hired additional
400 indian pilots. it was a good first of April joke.

Certainly a hoax, since Indian carriers themselves can't find 400 Indian pilots, and hence hire American, UK, Russian, Brasilian, Eastern European etc etc pilots....

I know what post your talking about. I believe it was OttoPylit who started it but I cant seem to find it either. I think it was probably deleted because I believe people took it to seriously and it became another bash Delta thread.

Wow, good memory! I had to stop and think about that for a second, to refresh my own memory. And you are correct, I do remember starting a thread about it(it was apparently moved to Non-Av) because there was SO much hype on here about the possible strike. I recieved it in an email at work about it and thought it was hilarious enough to post. Didn't really do it for an April Fools joke, it just happened to be around that time.
Someone apparently has re-posted the thread, and being early in the morning(my time), I needed a good laugh over how many people took it seriously...for the first 5 minutes, before realizing that it couldn't possibly be true.
Then again, the sad thing was those that posted who STILL BELIEVED IT!!!! LOL

i did belive it . i have had reservations on DL BSL-PHL so i was very glad to hear that DL will keep operations upright, even if there should be a Pilots strike going on. then when i got back in the evening from work the article was gone. then i realised that it was April 1.
