US imposed sanctions against several Russian (and other) companies involved in a weapon deal with Iran. As a counteract US companies are not allowed anymore to do business with these companies. Among them is Sukhoi, with which Boeing is working on a new plane.

Anyone knows more about the deal between Boeing and Sukhoi?

What impact for Boeing will this have?

Welcome back to the cold war...
If the US are against weapons-exports,they shuld stop doing so themselves.
They really hurt a civil regional airliner program based on a hypocrit dominance of weapons-trade on their own.
I don't know how much of a technology transfer between Boeing and Sukhoi went on,but that could most likely be compensated by European companies.
Negative side-effect is the delay of the launch!
