I have plenty of time for a crazy route, and enough miles for first class, I really want a big plane, any ideas? Thanks!

The best way to get the most out of it would be to get on a trans-con 777 flight, so UA IAD-LAX, AA MIA-LAX, or DL ATL-LAX, and then get to Phoenix. UA will let you do it all on one airline.

The Delta flight only has business class. The AA class has first class sold as first class ("American Flagship Service"). I do not know if the UA flight would have an international-style first class, because they have two kinds of 777s, international and domestic.

Ah, sorry I thought you were looking for direct widebody service out of BNS to PHX. If you just want to to ride on a wide body than yes there are plenty of ways to do it. Fly from BNA to ORD and hop on a UA 777 to DEN or LAX or SFO, then down to PHX.

I thought that you were disabled and found flying very painful....now you want to go on a long and indirect route from PHX tp BNA that will involve many connections simply to fly on a widebody? With your disability, how will your broken knees handle the long hours on the airplane and the long hikes at the hub airports connecting from one flight to another? When you miss your connection or are not in a comfortable seat, will you again post how the airline was unsympathetic to your needs.....although the last time you never advised the airline of your circumstances? Curiously, you now have lots of miles and money for F class.......why didnt you use those miles to upgrade on your long flight to Tokyo where you claimed to be treated so badly?

And, you were just on that uncomfortable widebody flight from LAX to NRT where you were angry that the airline was unwilling to upgrade you to J class?

Whats the real story?

If you really do have broken knees, fly direct. If you are not disabled, please dont ask for our sympathy and advise.

I'm pretty sure the only NS service between PHX-BNA is on WN - no widebodies, no F/J. Most of the year DL has widebodies from PHX-ATL, you could do PHX-ATL-BNA, this is probably the shortest flight time with the fewest connections.

Dutchjet, you are one sad and pittyful little boy... Yes I'm disabled, and other than spend four days a week in range and motion rehab. I have plenty of time on my hands and given the right cermcumstances (comfort and room) I love to get out and fly! What is your deal, sound like a person who really needs some help with your bitterness and petty thoughts. My problems are phyical, you my friend, need some serious mental health intervention and fast!

I don't think the 767's are coming back this winter, the schedule in Jan shows 757's.

You seem nice and mean, and quick to flame, but if you recall 747hogg's thread was complaining that he didn't get an F or C class seat (the exact topic of the previous thread is unimportant). You missed an important detail in 747hogg's original post:

Check my posts, I am not mean and very careful not to flame....read the other thread and get back to me. Numerous posts and serious discussion only to find out that Mr Hogg never advised the airline of his issues and he was simply bitching and moaning that he did not get an upgrade to J......do the research and draw your own conclusions.

Please, take your own advise dutchjet... I offered to pay to be moved to an enpty and unsold seat, not beg for it and use my status as a vet to con the A/L out of it. Refused, I asked to have an exit row.. by using a cane and wheelchair assist for boarding I was again denied.. how much more simple can it get? Yes, I now have 50.000 domestic miles and need to get a few days out of town. NOT the 200.000 it would take to go premimum class trans pacific on my last trip. Let's keep this site away from political bitterness, I asked a question and made a statement... simple as that, now take a valum and get some sleep.

It's pretty weird people get on here and lie about stuff/themselves/or whatever.

OMG.... I go DFW-NRT/KIX and then on to BKK 4 times a year and have never used 200K in first class.

I don't mean to infer anything about the rest of the "discussions", but was a little shocked about the 200,000 miles comment.

Best of luck.

exit rows seats are due to be assigned to a person who can assist in an emergency situation, if you have problems with your legs how did you expected to help??

Those are placeholders - we won't know the real equipment until a month or two before the real fly dates. This happens every year - the 76's always appear! Same if you look at the other airlines as well - if you look at NWA's schedule from PHX, they put more flights in december, most of them with Airbus equipment, then most of those end up being 757s.

Since I never fly NWA, I was simply surprised a TP ticket required that many miles. I spend all my time on OW carriers and Pacific awards are Biz 90-110K, 1st is 125-130K... South Pacific is 125-145K. The 200,000 just took me by surprise.

Safe travels!

You could also go BNA-EWR-IAH-PHX on Continental and get on a 762 or the 777 when it comes back online this Nov.
