After all the hassle I got for my truthful comments on Virgin when I had to ID90 on them back in June I wondered if I would get anything like the same for praising another airline I ID90'd on a fair bit the last two weeks!
I have to say I found QF helpful in every single way. They were good to me on the phone when I wanted to check loads to see the ideal time to fly and they were great listing me on the phone once I had the tickets for the chosen flights. BA on the other hand gave me bad info and had me going to terminal 4 on a day I didnt need to go long story but there you are...
I had a fabulous flight with them from Japan to Sydney, great staff, lovely clean plane and fantastic looking bathrooms (the black worksurface impressed me small things and all that). Food was fab, everything was great and friendly!
I had a flight with them from sydney to wellington and again fab and great staff they had at sydney very friendly check in agent and gate staff.
Had another flight from wellington to auckland and same great all round service.
The flight from auckland to LA was prehaps the best, food was great and they then bought round a bag of snack food for everyone and hot chocolate with marshmellows before they bedded peeps down..all this in economy...amazing service.
I had decent leg room, the NZ staff at auckland blocked me and my friend who was revenue some seats and had a fab flight I really can't praise them enough and what's more the in flight entertainment system really was the best I have come across...amazing!!
keep up the good work QF! Can't wait to fly you again and many thanks for such a great experience!

You should send the same letter direct to the QF-Headoffice. It is also nice for costumer-care to get some nice word like yours.
I am completely agree with you, QF is really a nice and friendly airline. I always loved to fly with them, and so I will do it in the future.

It's their attention to consistency in quality service that gained them the No.2 spot on the Skytrax Airline of the Year survey for 2006, which polled 13million passengers!

I had a LAX-AKL flight once delayed by sixteen hours. The incoming flight was 12 hours late, put us in a hotel, got us back to the airport at 2am, only to find the windscreen cracked, back to the hotel (a new room), finally departed 2pm and put us up in another hotel in AKL. Had a staff member at the LA hotel for the entire time to make sure everyone was being taken care of.

actually they have gotten 2nd for a few years now... just shows that they are always at the top!!
I love the to, as you can see by my username
As other have said I would write a letter to QF, I once had a horrible expirence with UA except for one lady who worked with me and made everything really nice. So I wrote a letter explaining what all had gone wrong and how this lady had helped so much!
write a report, I just flew AKL-LAX and my report will be up with in the hour!
~Cheers-

We all have our horror stories, and I've had a couple on QF out of the USA.. but the experience is not unique to QF. I've had one or two on NZ and a few on AC that I won't rabbit on about, but they really take the cake.
