Has anybody heard as to where NK will operate out of BOS. Its a week away and I havent heard anything. Term. A would most likey be there best bet if they want to pay the price that is.

The old HP gates(B37-38) or the old DL shuttle gates possibly(B1-3)? Both would suit their ops well.

I believe they will be out of Terminal B US Airways side. US will be ground handling them I heard.

There was a blurb in the Boston Globe this past week that AC will be moving to the US side of B early next year, but no word on NK. Interestingly, NK has taken down their city page for Boston. Boston shows up on their route map, but not on the list of destinations.

Could this be a sign NK is pulling out of BOS before they start service? What they should do, is shut the PVD ops down, and move it to BOS. Or visa-versa.

I wish they would come back to EWR!!! However closing PVD ops and moving to BOS would be a very logical and economic move for spirit

BOS is cheaper than PVD? How much have you been smoking lately? If you wanted to argue that they shouldn't have split ops between the two airports, then I would agree with you. NK is merely trying to steal traffic from a bigger market than try to compete with Airtran and Delta going southbound.

Would it?

Take PVD-RSW - they are the only airline flying that route, but if they moved it to BOS they would face heavy competition and probably be forced out of the market. Moving PVD-FLL to BOS woulde be similar although maybe FLL connections could sustain it?
