Quoting Supa7E7 (Reply 1): And the great feeding frenzy over the spoils of US Airways has begun.
I think they should strike, or demand every last penny of that amazing recent quarterly profit go to flight attendants

I am always angered by Management receiving extra when much of the profit can be attributed to those who have received pay and benefit cuts. While management enables an airline to run well and credit for success should be given, corporate culture if often shameful in their greed.

That "profit" won't be going anywhere for a while anyway. It's a yearly pool, which means if US say, takes a loss in 3Q (which we won't), that 36 million for profit sharing goes away. The soonest the money will be paid is around tax time next year, if any. I don't know why everyone is getting so worked up about it.

What exactly is angering you here? The HP and US F/A's need to be thankful they still have an airline they can call home because a year ago today they were very close to being on the streets.
I am always angered by Unions, speaking on "behalf" of their constituants, about everything THEY see as unfair. Not even 3 months ago everyone was praising Doug Parker for forgoing his bonus until US posted a profit and now that they did and management is getting their rightful share, these incompetent, shameless and outdated unions open their damn mouths. US Airways management has worked very hard on putting this little 10 billion dollar revenue project together for their sake and the sake of the 30,000 employees of the company. I wish someone from the inside would just tell these unions to shut the hell up.
