AIRLINERS.NET CREW PHOTO SCREENER
A PILOT was forced to make an emergency pit stop — so 295 British tourists could go to the loo.
Passengers had been banned from using the 767’s toilets in case they OVERFLOWED after ground crew forgot to empty them before take-off.
The nine-hour flight from Cancun in Mexico to Birmingham had to divert to Goose Bay, Canada.
The unscheduled stop meant that passengers landed in Britain almost 24 HOURS late.
The flights aren't that cheap, sure Thomsonfly's Low Cost services are cheapish but these Cancun flights are (mostly) sold as part of a package deals and so passengers have to travel with them, and may have spent a lot of money on their holiday. Going to the toilet isn't too much to ask is it!
By the sounds of things it was quite a carry on.
The spokesperson for Thomson insisted the toilets had been serviced correctly in Mexico. Why were they not emptied then?

What a crappy situation. That would certainly put me in a pissy mood.
