Hi guys, dont flame me for starting yet *another* thread on this but the rest are getting quite large and I thought that towards the
end of today we could get a run down of all whats happening at London and the regions regarding delays cancellations and whose closed and whos not..
LHR is still closed I hear for inbound traffic except from certain countries in Europe and a couple of the day flights from the USA are on their way to LHR.

Aer Lingus say all its flights are still recovering since 3pm and they are now operating at LHR but with delays.
Air France has cancelled all flights to Britain until 7pm this evening.
10% of all flights at LGW are cancelled according to Sky News.

easyJet is cancelling all the flights for the rest of this afternoon and evening from all three of its London bases - Luton, Gatwick and Stansted!!!
I think this is a bit of an over reaction and going to take the airline weeks to catch up. Passengers whose flights have been cancelled are really going to suffer!
Even though they are offering refunds and free transfers, it is peak summer season and easyJets flights at present are flying over 90% full, so I am unsure how these thousands of passengers are going to get home...
