Air China - way back in the early 90s at the end of a 747 flight between Beijing and Tokyo, the F/A presented me with a US $ 18.00 check. I and my travelling companion had to inform her that you just don't charge First Class passengers for drinks. Sorry, it just aint done.
But that certainly did make for a very unique First Class service.

In the UK, first class passengers have the option of a limo to LHR or they can opt for a helicopter transfer. Next time, I might order the helicopter to land at my local park!

Okay, now before everybody jumps all over me, please understand that I'm not suggesting that United Airlines has the best first class service in the world. I certainly think it's in the top 5 though.
About a month ago, my girlfriend and I flew SFO-LHR-SFO as nonrev passengers, flew business class to LHR, which was very nice, and got lucky coming back and went first class.
It so happened that the aircraft we were coming back on was new and was equipped with First Suite. The flight was absolutely perfect. I was so impressed that I even wrote a letter to United telling them how much I enjoyed the flight. The cabin, of course, was beautiful, still had the new airplane smell, the seats were perfect, the flight attendant who worked F cabin was beautiful and she provided excellent service, the food was terrific, just everything that could go right did. The pilots did a great job, and hey, it's a 777. What do you expect?
