Quote: Jet Airways flight from London with 198 passengers onboard made an emergency landing at the Mumbai airport on Sunday after developing an engine snag.
The article says that it was an A340-300 flying as 9W118 from London Heathrow (like the folks flying out of the UK need any more drama!). No one was hurt, thankfully. Must have developed relatively late in the flight to land at Mumbai ...
Can't find any other information right now. Kinda surprisingly (given how much the Indian 24/7 TV news loves to hype things) there was nothing on any of the other channels. Nothing at the Jet Airways website either.
(Sounds like the incident with the AA B777 last month ... that was a twin engine plane though ... )

Wow -- that's cool. Is that photo on here? How does one access it? And, really silly question -- isn't taking photographs of airplanes/airports illegal in India? I sneak a few when I'm visiting ... normally from inside the airplane, but never at the airport itself.
