This summer, as has already been posted here a while ago, United Express started serving BIL, BZN and MSO via ORD using Skywest's CRJ700. The BZN flight is daily, and the other two are weekend only...Just wondering if anyone knows how well these flights are performing. In a side note, I've spent years surfing a-net, and finally decided to join, and this is my first post!!!

welcome to A.net. I'm assuming they're doing what they were supposed to do (hence using hte CRJ700, so lower loads), but I'm not sure. if the BZN is daily then I guess it's doing pretty well, or atleast according to planned. as for the other two, I'm not sure. but don't trust me I'm not very good with load issues, just wanted to welcome you here.

Last time I checked they were all over 80 percent full.

I wish UA flew mainline to MYR, that way you wouldn't be stuck in a smelly Saturn for 12 hours.

Our once-weekly has exceeded expectations in terms of loads and performance. Last couple of times that I've checked, tarriffs (yields/fares) could probably be a bit better (higher). A healthy percentage of pax booked on this particular flight connect to cities in the east, where the connection through DEN typically costs more, but hey, it's a great, convenient alternative for our pax, so we'll take it. After summer, it will go from a RON flight Saturday nights for a Sunday morning departure, to a one-weekly Saturday morning turn. BIL has been working on an ORD flight for years - I reckon the CR7 service will be retained at any frequency. We're also working on CR7 service to a new market for next summer, which is sort of exciting. We get so much tourism up here, especially from the orient - I cannot wait to see what happens.

Salute,

-UA-

Ditto Ordryan28's question. I've been wanting to know which Hawaiian/Carribean island has the LEAST pax loads, so I can plan an uncrowded vacation  Smile

Is it SFO or LAX? Those would be my guesses, especially w/ the CR7. IAD is a tad out of the question.

HIGHLY confidential information...regardless of airline. Load data comes from internal airline websites. I wouldn't even release prior data, as that indicates how an airline is doing on a certain route, and someone from a rival airline who sees the information can forecast what future bookings might be like.

Question for you guys....

I believe in the June issue of Hemispheres... or maybe it was May.... the route map showed the Montana to ORD flights (as well as ORD-CVG, IAD-CVG, and Rockford, IL- DEN) as operated by TED.

I ONLY saw this on the route map- nothing more. I checked everything I could think of to find info on these flights and found nothing operated by Mainline United or TED.

Was United thinking about using mainline and/or TED aircraft for these flights????

Any input would be appreciated!

No, there were several incorrect things about the route maps as of late in Hemispheres...sorry...

Thanks!!

Also, welcome, Montanaflyer. I was just in MT, SD, WY, and NE last week for the first time. That's some beautiful scenery you've got up there.

thanks, MT and WY do have some nice scenery, but SD and NE? Just kidding, those are great states too, I love SD for some reason.

I think that Rockford would be better served if indeed TED was on the route instead of those stupid little Barbie Jets...

I also think that UAL should start flying a fwe flights from Rockford to OHare...even tho its so close, there could be many conenctions made out east and to Florida.
TED to Denver and UAX to ORD and you are set....I know thses planes ould be filled....If pricing out of Rockford is supposed to be the equivelant of flying out of ORD or MDW then whats the big deal....
