At some airports, like at MUC, only passengers travelling to certain destinations, e.g. the USA, aren't admitted access to the "safe" zone of the airport if travelling with the forbidden liquids.
Now there are mostly also other flight departing from the area, so theoretically other passengers could hand over these dangerous objects to the passengers of the flight going to the USA, after having gained access to the zone beyond security. Effectively, the new rules would be useless then, right ?
What's your opinion ?
And please don't flame me later because all passengers are for bidden to take these items on their flights, after the security dudes have read this tread !

Yes, there is another security checkpoint before you can get on USA bound aircraft. You end up in a secure waiting area, and you aren't allowed to leave that area until you get on the plane.
