I have seen several discussions of people asking for pictures of TK's new A330's.

To make it easy for everyone curious I am posting the pictures of the newest A330 TC-JNE that I found on myaviation.net on here.

I was chatting with some Turkish crews in SEA this week. They said those new colorfull seats will not last that long with coffee, juice, etc. spils..

I agree they will stain easily. I think TK made a mistake with choosing Cemil Ipekci to do their cabin redesign I don't think he has any experience in the field of aviation and had no foresight to realize that those light colors will get dirty fast. If they had went with navy seats with the same fabric pattern it would have looked better and also have looked cleaner. TK's male employees probably don't like having to wear pink ties either. But for now while the seats are clean they look good.

First Choice perhaps? They seem to have an interior colour which matches a bit their colourscheme.

Thanks for sharing!

The business class seats look like a cross between LH's new business class seats and AC's Executive First class seats on their A345s.

Cheers,

Tony

Most definitely. Is that headrest I see in the Economy cabin. I know CO has these, but is that what I see? Will they redo the interiors if stains accumulate on them quickly?

I hope they are treated with some from of stain repellent but if they aren't I'm sure they will replace them fast. The A340's don't have any stains that I could see and they have been in the fleet for a while.

I thought that Airbus stopped installing personal air-conditioning outlets above the seats (have not seen them on other A330-200) but they seem to have installed them on TK planes.

I guess it depends on airline specifications.

Does anybody know the general trend? Are these things actually required?

ThereAndBack,
Thanks a lot for posting the photos, I was the one constantly asking, looking...
I have to disagree with you guys, I really liked the light blue, I wish the photo was taken after they had put the headrest covers. I wonder what color? It will change the whole look of the inside.
I also disagree with the idea that every color choice has to make sense economically. If that was true we would dress all our babies brown onesies. And we would decorate our houses from Costco.
Form and function have to go hand in hand, and have to congratulate TK for taking a bolder step.

I think they will use these dark blue ones which will look nice on the turquoise.

Those seats make me happy i'm colorblind. Even with color distortion I can tell they're scary.

It's like they wanted to one-up the ugly interiors on Delta's Song aircraft. Good grief.

Why can't airlines have taste....like LH.

The business look great as most of the airlines having smiliar product and Oct 06 I will try the new seat on A332 to IST from BKK.

Most of the male employees did complains on pink ties and they saying it's looking gay at the beginning. Female's uniform looking great.

Being plain and boring doesn't equal taste.

The only colors used on the A330 are turquoise cream and brown. Not scary at all. Turquoise is a big color in Turkish culture shown in Iznik tiles for example:

You can see several themes used in the TK redesign in those pictures the color and the tulip.
